Charter Appointment Committee of the Newtown Legislative Council Chairman Paul Lundquist called the meeting to order at 7:06 p.m.
VOTER COMMENT: No members of public present
NEW BUSINESS
CANDIDATE ADVERTISEMENT FOR NEWSPAPER: Mr. Lundquist proposed wording and layout for an advertisement to run in The Bee. Members debated various suggestions, and arrived at a final version to appear in The Bee on 6/14.
FUTURE MEETING SCHEDULE - Mr. Lundquist asked the availability of committee members to meet with the intention of beginning the candidate screening process the following week. The Committee agreed to meet Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 6:00pm at a location to be determined.
Having no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
